Since twitter is a social networking where everybody is free to think, speak and post something, it becomes a mouth, mind and fingers of most people now a days. This site becomes a tool to express what people wanted to say.
Celebrities are the people exposed most in twitter; hence they have lots of followers. Not all their followers are their fan but also their criticizers. There are times that celebrities can’t manage their emotions and that lead them to misconception or worst to scandals.
One of the great examples is the case of Marc Cuban who criticized the referees who officiates the game between Denver Nuggets and Dallas Mavericks. NBA fined him with $25,000 of this. Another thing was a libel case filed against Courtney Love who used twitter to disseminate malicious words for Simorangkir. Many of Love’s alleged Twitter messages are combative.

Never tweet if you are intoxicated
Damages may arise if one is in the influence of drug or alcohol. The case against Love was caused by drug-induced psychosis or the belief that fame and money can disregard the law. Everyone who posted words in twitter must be aware or must bear in mind of the consequences in the future and must ready to face it.
Alias or just mention sh— can be used instead of using the real name if you really want to criticize some one
Since Marc Curban specifies “JR Smith” in his tweet, no doubt it is very obvious that he pointed out the referee. It is better if he had mentioned a non-particular person so he can’t be automatically judged.
Blocking can be an option
It does not mean that if you block someone they can’t connect with your tweets. They can just link your full Twitter URL and then they will know what your tweet is. Blocking someone means you are blind and deaf to their replies and messages.
Pretending that your are someone
Today there are impostors who use fraud account. Maya Angelou is one of the victims of it who has an account @mayaangelo in Twitter who has 2,495 followers and it was discovered that a young artist named Lee was the one who is using it – Maya Angelou
Disguising can be sued
A certain folk who place an account on Twitter posted a fake Mad Men Tweets.
Twitting involving anything about your job must be avoided
Posting too fast without carefully thinking of the context can elicit an unintended response. Though it is true but still it can reflect to your own personality, thus sometimes lead to misconception for others. We must organized out thoughts, think and re-think first before hitting to publish anything in our profile.
